Rediscovering Ourselves Through Our Dreams
Each night, while we sleep, we go on an adventure. Time and space mean nothing in this realm as, within it, we’re able to connect with people, places, and events from all around the world and from any era—past, present, or future. Reunions with former lovers, long-forgotten events from childhood, glimpses into the details of other people’s lives…these are just a few of the experiences that can arise in our dreams.
In addition to serving as a source of late night entertainment and time travel, unbeknownst to many, our dreams also have the potential of connecting us to a well-spring of inner wisdom that is both ancient and immediate, a wisdom and that comes to offer each one of us access to our innate capacities for self- understanding, healing, and guidance.
In this 90 minute workshop, we'll explore some of the ways we can access our inner dream-wisdom through a sampling of the many fascinating aspects of dreams such as--
*Where dreams come from.
*How dreams have impacted the lives of some important figures in history and HERstory.
*The mechanism behind the psychic and telepathic aspect of dreams.
*Some of the ways women’s dreams differ from men’s.
*How women’s dreams tend to evolve and change with our monthly cycles and the three
feminine thresholds: menarche, motherhood, and menopause.
*The ways in which dreams can serve as a powerful source of inner healing and guidance.
This workshop will also include information about enhancing dream recall and methods for dream interpretation such as dream journaling, dream sharing, role-playing, dream themes, and creative dream exploration. For those willing to share some of their nighttime adventures, we will also explore some of our own dreams together as a group.
