A workshop for exploring the
physical, emotional, & spiritual energies of the feminine midlife passage.
For all women looking to ease the challenges of the Feminine Midlife Passage and deepen their enjoyment of the years beyond.
This workshop is a wonderful way to~~
- Learn valuable breathing techniques that can help calm the mind and cool the body.
- Explore gentle, supported Yoga postures and QiGong movements aimed at addressing some of the specific challenges of menopause and post-menopuase such as hot flashes or power surges, sleeplessness and anxiety, joint and muscle stiffness.
- Discover how sequences of self-guided movement can help you to explore your unique midlife issues and reconnect with your sensual and creative energies.
- Enjoy a relaxing guided meditation designed to help reacquaint you with the power of your inner wisdom.
This workshop is well suited for women new to Yoga & Qigong
as well as more advanced practitioners.
Women should come dressed in clothing that will allow them to move freely and comfortably
and should also be prepared for the drop in body temperature that can sometimes occur
during the final relaxation segment (socks and/or a sweatshirt).
Both seated and standing movements and postures will be explored.
Handouts will be provided at the end of the workshop with questions designed to inspire women to explore some of the emotional and spiritual aspects of the menopausal journey
and the Wise Woman years at home through journaling exercises.
